How do you solve a problem like Sharia?

The Religion of PeaceTM  racked up quite the body count this weekend:
PESHAWAR, Pakistan — A suicide attack on a historic church in northwestern Pakistan killed at least 78 people on Sunday in one of the deadliest attacks on the Christian minority in Pakistan in years.

NAIROBI, Kenya — Kenyan police began an assault to end a siege by as many as 15 al-Qaeda-linked gunmen at a shopping mall in Kenya’s capital after an attack yesterday inwhich 68 people died and an unknown number were taken hostage.
Security forces have as good a chance “as we can hope for” to neutralize the attackers, who may include women, as the authorities work to ensure the captives are freed unharmed, Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta told reporters today in the city. More than 205 people were injured in the raid and 49 are missing, according to the Kenya Red Cross’s website.

It's worth pointing out the folks responsible for this barbarism are the ideological fellow travelers of some of the more prominent rebel groups in Syria, for whom our President recently waived rules that would have prevented giving them U.S. armaments.  There's no doubt they, too, added to the weekend's death toll, though the spotlight hasn't been on them so much lately (maybe they need to eat someone's heart again).

Americans should pay close attention to the developing claim that at least three of the jihadists in Kenya were American imports.  If true, this would not be an isolated event.  And it begs the question: as our government continues to resettle more and more refugees from the countries we imprudently get involved with, how long will it be before we have a substantial fifth column of jihadists right here at home?  Remember: these wars abroad were supposed to prevent "having to fight them here."  Given the actual execution of policy, however, I fear it's only a matter of time before it's the Mall of the Americas being shot up, and Americans asked at the point of a gun whether they are Muslim or not.

I harbor no ill will against individual Muslims.  Organized Islam, however, is incompatible with a free, western-style representative way of life (or any OTHER non-Muslim civilization, for that matter).  The sooner we acknowledge that, the better.  It isn't as though we haven't been having the conversation for more than 20 years...
[T]he relations between Muslims and peoples of other civilizations -- Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox, Hindu, Chinese, Buddhist, Jewish -- have been generally antagonistic; most of these relations have been violent at some point in the past; many have been violent in the 1990s. Wherever one looks along the perimeter of Islam, Muslims have problems living peaceably with their neighbors. Muslims make up about one-fifth of the world's population but in the 1990s they have been far more involved in intergroup violence than the people of any other civilization.
