Speaking of handouts...

Considering the 'bear market' in mortgages the government saw fit to intervene in again, I found this particularly amusing:


Maybe there's a good political philosophy embodied here: there are two groups of people: the zookeepers and the domesticated animals. Why do we tolerate government encouraging more and more of us into the latter category?

And yes, I know the Fannie Mae/Mac bailout is happening in a Republican administration -- remember, I'm not a fan of the current GOP, either.
