From Bloomberg:
Presidential candidate Ron Paul raised almost $20 million for his campaign in the last three months, potentially outpacing every one of his Republican rivals and putting his fundraising in league with Hillary Clinton's....The take puts Paul on par with the top fundraisers in the Democratic Party, who outpaced Republicans last year. The campaign of New York Senator Clinton yesterday said she raised more than $100 million for the year, meaning she brought in at least $20 million in the fourth quarter.
And unlike others who are funded by the well-heeled:
Paul's campaign said that more than 107,000 donors were new and the average donation was about $90.
Yet all that grass-roots support isn't enough to overcome Fox and ABC's determination that he isn't a serious enough candidate to
participate in the last forum prior to the New Hampshire primary. That's a power Rupert Murdoch and his peers in the corporate media should never be allowed to have.
