The best way to thank the veterans of the past is to live a life of liberty worthy of the sacrifices that made it possible. The best way to thank the veterans of the present is to ensure the sacrifices they are called upon to make are for honorable and achievable ends. The best way to thank the veterans of the future is to ensure the country we hand down to the next generation is still worth defending. Not all who defend freedom wear the uniform. And not all who threaten it do so from outside.
