The gov't tells us we're in a "Long War" against terrorism. Some thoughts:
- Can a war against violent activity (regardless of motive) ever be "won?"
- Does it make sense to say you're in a long-term, worldwide war...then CUT the size of your armed forces (as is currently happening)?
- Are we fighting only terrorism of the Islamic variety, or does this count too: Death raises concern over police tactics
