Another grain of sand on the beach

That's about the best way to describe the idea of starting my new blog. It'll be about as useful, and probably as irritating for those with the misfortune to stumble on it. But since I'm a regular reader of a handful of very well-written, thought-provoking blogs, I figure, why not? If nothing else, this should let me collect my random musings on many fronts without having to try every new idea on my poor beseiged wife of 14 years. I'm sure she'll appreciate the reprieve...
