Birthday bummer

You have to feel for the Constitution.  Today's it's birthday, and all the President got for it was another claim of "executive privilege" ... even though he himself once denounced it.

I guess when you're more than two centuries old, people stop caring about you...

Happy Birthday anyway, Constitution.  You're still the longest-operating national charter in the world, and under you a new nation grew to unprecedented prosperity.

Too bad we didn't know what to do with it when we got there, or understand the need to defend the provisions that made it possible!
