Vapid or Stupid?

This is exhibit A why you won't catch me watching the various Presidential cattle calls (as a former competitive debater, I REFUSE to call these circuses 'debates')...

In a feature King dubbed "This or That" and explained as a way to better know the candidates' personalities, he asked each of them a multiple choice question at some point during the debate. We're fighting two extended wars, poking our head into two or three more, the economy continues to implode, and this is how our self-important media punditry class chooses to use limited national stage time?  Puh-lease... Our electoral system has so jumped the shark it's painful even to see the process referenced indirectly.
