I suppose Johnny does get an education, of sorts, when over 1,000 teachers call in "sick" so they can go protest legislation their union doesn't like.

I like Glenn Reynold's idea of somebody filing a class-action suit against the union for deliberately inciting the 'sickout' and causing disruption and expense for thousands of parents. If only accountability weren't so out of fashion these days...
