And this is a problem because.... ?

The headline to this article starts the journey into incredulity:
Illegal immigrants plan to leave over Ariz. law

Many day laborers like Diaz say they will leave Arizona because of the law, which also makes it a state crime to be in the U.S. illegally and directs police to question people about their immigration status if there is reason to suspect they are illegal immigrants.
If the phrase in bold above doesn't underscore the Federal failures in this area, I don't know what does. When a State has to make it a crime to break a Federal law, you have to wonder what the hell we're paying Uncle Sam for.
Some illegal immigrants, however, intended to stick around. Natalia Garcia, 35, from Mexico City, says she and her husband - a day laborer - will stay so their daughters - both born in the U.S. - can get a good education and learn English. The couple have been living in Arizona illegally for the last 10 years.
And apparently living there openly enough they're available for interviews...

Naturally, the same Federal government that can't be bothered to be serious about securing the border and deporting those who break into America has plenty of resources to challenge Arizona's plan to "do the jobs the Feds won't do." Meanwhile, other States -- including Texas, Utah, Alabama, Georgia -- are now also mulling over whether it's time they look to their own communities' best interests, instead of relying on Mordor D.C. After all:

"When any form of government becomes destructive of these ends..."
