Saturday Sounds

While I like the way this video puts images and lyrics together, I can't say I completely agree with its message. At the end it says "freedom for all, at any cost." America cannot be the underwriter of everyone's freedom; each nation has to sustain its own to some degree. And while the war in Afghanistan was a necessary response, the Iraq invasion--from which most of these images were taken--was an optional detour that may have derailed our best interests. It's one thing to go after the person who hit you... it's another to seek additional opponents.
