Kodak moment

A photo's worth a thousand words, they say. This one's practically a book:

Don't get me wrong: I'm not necessarily in the Sergeant Crowley fan club. I'm not even convinced there was a need for an arrest in the situation. But I'm even more repulsed by how quickly certain parties seized on the issue to once again stir up racial animosity. From start to finish, the whole issue's been a farce: a mishandled police call leads to an ill-advised Presidential statement followed by a shamelessly transparent attempt to have a beer and act like "one of the guys."

Which Obama is most definitely not. Hillary was right* -- he's an 'elitist.' But then, she's one to talk. The vast majority of those who infest D.C. are worthy of at least that title (if not others far more disparaging). This is why the Potomac Express is so self-righteous and certain they KNOW what's best for everyone else. The rest of us are just too average or ignorant to realize they're spending us into oblivion and seeking personal advantages for our own good.

Obama has been disappointing as President, to say the least. One thing this photo should finally prove, however, is that even his reputation as a skilled politician is undeserved. As this writer notes, people are beginning to realize the fraud that was foisted on them last year. That growing buyer's remorse need to do more than limit him to one term (if even that, at the rate things are going). It needs to pull down the entrenched system of smoke and mirrors that consciously enabled him to move into the White House to begin with.

* - may the Lord have mercy on me for typing that...
