Apparently, President Ahmadinejad's support in Iran isn't as overwhelming as official election tallies allege:



Some points:
- Interesting that such a large protest is taking place in Iran, when we can't get more than a few hundred people to show up at rallies over current US economic thievery, er, policy.
- According to the comments in the video thread, the protesters are shouting "death to this liar government." Worthy sloganeering.
- Had the prior administration managed to get us in a shooting match with Iran, this crowd would be shouting "death to America," no matter their misgivings about their own leaders. War drives people into the arms of the State.

Conclusion? Let's let other nations worry about their own corrupt political systems, and pay more attention to the one we have at home. Just a thought.
