As we start the long Memorial Day weekend, let's not forget what the holiday is about. Though our Armed Forces may be used for misguided and even foolhardy purposes at times, without generations of Americans willing to take up arms we would not have the nation we are still blessed to call home. We can talk policies and problems again next week. Today, a prayer of thanksgiving is more in order.
