New York man Muzzammil Hassan founded pro-Islam station Bridges TV five years ago to combat the negative public image of Muslims. He is currently under arrest for beheading his wife.I'll leave the snarky comments to others... I can't bring myself to have fun with a story like that. But I did think it worth pointing out. Given the increasing tendency of many practitioners of the alleged "religion of peace" to impose their medieval will on everyone around them by any means necessary, it's worth wondering if we've lost the ability to assert that some things are just wrong. Period.

Even sadder is how some folks reflexively defend Islam even in the face of how that worldview treats women in general. Many of those apologists would never put up with similar practices from Westerners (secular OR Christian). I often wonder why the discrepancy.
