Li'l slow on the uptake, Sherlock

But never let it be said Uncle Sam can't figure things out. Even if it's about forty years late.

Headline: "US needs to 'Americanize' immigrants or face trouble, Federal task force says."

It's nice some of the bureaucrats acknowledge the problem, but I can't imagine how anyone thinks we can 'Americanize' immigrants when there's no consensus what this country is or believes in or stands for anymore. The real legacy of multiculturalism is breaking the ties that bind, so it shouldn't be surprising that our nation is fragmented, even balkanized.

The folks from the task force may think that's a bug. Those who've (mis)managed our immigration policy the past four decades seem to think it's a feature. Wonder why that is??
