Saturday Sounds

Something different this week. You may have heard of the "Obama Youth" singing his praises. The original is pretty over the top to begin with. But I laughed out loud when I stumbled upon the "Pyongyang remix" version:



Is it really so hard for his supporters to understand why those of us with a little more objectivity see this campaign as a tad too messianic for our own good??

UPDATE: OK, I'm not laughing anymore. This isn't an isolated example, apparently. For the record, as much as I support the political positions of Ron Paul it creeped me out when some of his more ardent supporters tried to turn him into some kind of savior. It's about the message, not the messenger. Unfortunately for Obama, some people still oppose socialism as much as they do socialists.

So, for the final Saturday Sound, this song seems rather appropriate.
