Rest in peace

Dan Fogelberg has died.

My sister once chose to learn "Run for the Roses" as part of her piano recital. Even after listening to that day in and day out, I never developed a dislike for Fogleberg or his music. That says a lot.

As do the lyrics to his "Leader of the Band." If all fathers were worthy of such tribute, and all sons willing to give it, the world would be a much better place.
