Government "giving"

Quote of the day, regarding the typical campaign season promises that government will do "more" for everybody:

"Isn't this like when you get presents from family members and you know they charged it on your credit card?"

That credit card's more than maxed out, and only one candidate seems willing to campaign without promising to mortgage even more of the future.
