Darwinian dead end

Some Darwinian atheists claim to be the next step in evolution— globally conscious “brights” with no need for religion and standard morality. They, not the Christian or other theist, supposedly represent the future. And yet, atheists and agnostics have far fewer children on average than the religious. This is easy enough to understand. A worldview with Self, rather than God at the center, is hostile to anything that impedes self-satisfaction, and children have an annoying habit of doing just that. In this view, abortion for convenience is a “right,” and an unwanted pregnancy represents merely a 'parasite' or 'invader.'

That line of reasoning has now reached its ultimate, diabolical conclusion:

At the age of 27 this young woman at the height of her reproductive years was sterilised to "protect the planet".

Incredibly, instead of mourning the loss of a family that never was, her boyfriend (now husband) presented her with a congratulations card.

While some might think it strange to celebrate the reversal of nature and denial of motherhood, Toni relishes her decision with an almost religious zeal.

"Having children is selfish. It's all about maintaining your genetic line at the expense of the planet," says Toni, 35.

While most parents view their children as the ultimate miracle of nature, Toni seems to see them as a sinister threat to the future. ...

But when she was 25, disaster struck.

"I discovered that despite taking the Pill, I'd accidentally fallen pregnant by my boyfriend.

"I was horrified. I knew straight away there was no option of having the baby.

"I went to my doctor about having a termination, and asked if I could be sterilised at the same time....

She claims she was far from alone.

"Through my job I made many friends who, like me, were more interested in campaigning, trying to change society and save the planet rather than having families of our own.

Secular humanism is a religion unto itself, and the misguided passions of these people have pushed many from merely being good stewards into modern day acolytes of Molech. I rarely speak this bluntly, but such irrational self-loathing can only come to humanity from the very pit of hell.

Ironically, this tendency to destroy Life--to perform evil and call it good--is literally a Darwinian dead end. Like sin itself, which has no existence apart from the corruption of that which is good, the hellish worldview described in the article is only sustainable by recruitment and corruption, since replacement isn't an option. THAT’S the real battle in the education wars. Those of us raising our children to love and respect God and their fellow man are less and less interested in turning them over to a sterile, faith-free education 'monopoly' increasingly run by sterile, faith-free bureaucrats.
