Now that's a fire!

The Oldest Musketeer is starting to show some interest in campcraft. Make that a lot of interest. For his latest "do it yourself project," he scavenged some of my leftover patio bricks, and made a fire pit. A working one. Complete with wood positioned to start an A-frame fire when he showed it to me ("Dad...it's ready to go... can we?). He even had water nearby... the kid's learning to think things through!

Man, those hot dogs and s'mores tasted good tonight!

I guess the Christmas list may need to include this book. And that's a good thing.
