Yet another one of those events that evens up the score after a week looking at all that's wrong with the world: getting a phone message from a friend you haven't seen in four years, telling you they're in town for a while.
Faith, family, friends -- I honestly don't know how people attempt to muddle through life without 'em. They're what's right in the world.
