Something different...

My brother-in-law recently gave me a small book of rarely reprinted Peanuts strips. It's interesting to see some of the misfires and experiments Charles Schultz tried along the way to establishing the characters known so well today. For some of these "unseen Peanuts," however, it's not immediately obvious why they weren't a regular part of the "canon." Like this one, which seems to predate Snoopy's regular interactions with Woodstock:

"But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect..."
1 Peter 3:15
