The White House said Monday that Gen. David Petraeus likely will testify before Congress on the sixth anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks...Umm-hmm. Yup, their plate's pretty full (with COURT DATES!), so it HAS to be a coincidence that hearings on the war can only take place on the emotionally-charged date of Sept. 11. They really do think we're that stupid. Can we add "contempt of the public" to the list of charges?
According to (Gordon) Johndroe (White House spokesman), the fact that the pair likely will appear before Congress on Sept. 11 has nothing to do with the anniversary of the attack, but was rather dictated by Congress’s tight schedule.

And don't miss the earlier point that the White House is going to write Gen. Petraeus' speech for him. Continued instability means continued profit.
...anybody following the procurement and disbursement 'investigations' knows that only too well. So we have an administration preparing a speech to a Congress that's full of miscreants... I think I'll skip that C-SPAN theater.
