Here we are, six years into the new millenium, wondering about the defense of Western Civilization, and how are we spending our weekends?

Watching the movie "Jackass 2," apparently.

I remember reading a quote once -- I can't recall the author -- that "America will always be truly governed by women because it's a land of little boys who refuse to grow up."

When a civilization that once spanned and tamed the globe is now reduced to spending $28 million to watch stupid stunts, is it possible that civilization has jumped the shark?
