What a weekend. Beautiful weather--perfect for working outside around the house. Combine that with a visit from an old friend for a cookout, and better than average behavior by the Three Musketeers (even after hosting a sleepover Friday!), and it doesn't get much better than this.
Too bad we can't rename every day of the week either Saturday or Sunday, isn't it?
At least this Monday is eased by the fact we have Memorial Day weekend coming up. After this weekend's practice run, I think I'm ready for the Official Start of Summer. Grill...check. Suntan lotion...check. Country and Bluegrass music...check. Heck, even the front porch is repainted and ready. Gentlemen...start your engines!
See, I told you I don't sit around in sackcloth and ashes all the time!
