Sunday meditation

“Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.” Ephesians 4:29

“A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control.” Proverbs 29:11

Guess what kind of week it’s been, for these verse to come to mind. The Spirit’s timing may be perfect, but it’s also annoyingly convicting at times. Come Monday, it’s once more into the breech, but maybe a little better prepared this time. Thanks, God, for the reminders and a chance to regroup.
