"I could have been a doctor..."

"...it was just the math and science part I had trouble with."

That's what Woody Harrelson's character tells Michael J. Fox in the movie Doc Hollywood. Too bad he didn't hire a lawyer. I feel so much safer knowing judges are making sure police forces know that looking like America, ignorance and all, is more important than being adept at such trivial things as math.
In 2005, barely half of high school graduates (51%) were ready for college level reading, and less than half were ready for college-level math and science coursework.
In America, you truly can be anything you want...regardless of qualifications.
